Urmi,I am sure a lot of Indians have not heard of this village. It is said to be a medical marvel.
  • everymatter · 4 months ago
CHEMICALS, DRUGS DEFINITELY HAS BAD EFFECTS.
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
everymatter, sure they have bad effects, but this one seems to be something which needs research upon.

Amazing. There has to be a reason. It cannot be a random coincidence. Let us hope the mystery is unraveled some day.
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
It needs a lot of research before we can get to the bottom of this marvel
  • Nita · 4 months ago
This is indeed curious. I never knew that these things could happen. it is possible that all these people are distantly related and carry some common gene. I know a blogger with the same surname as the village. I wonder if he is from there, need to ask him if he has a twin!!
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
Nita,I did speak to a few Doctors very generally and you will be surprised that very few have ever heard of this village, forget about the medical marvel. If you get to know anything from the blogger friend, let me know.

I have heard of this. It was in the news a while back. Interesting stuff and a great read.
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
sujata, surprisingly, the Doctors who I have spoken to, are not aware of this.I do intend going further on this news,if I can.
  • manju · 4 months ago
I think I read about this somewhere. There may well be some environmental reason that has not been discovered yet!
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
manju, may be enivironmental reasons. But,these women tend give birth to twins even after they move away from the village.Could it be genes?
  • ankitrathod · 4 months ago

Fascinating! Thank you for this information. God, genes or co-incidence??
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
    J PJoshi,it seems to a combination of all the three...God-Genes and C0-incidence.
  • Philip · 4 months ago
must be something in the air/water of the town. The scientists should do some survey/research and try to find the reason why so many twins are there in one place. Would be fun knowing that.
  • bkchowla · 4 months ago
Philip,it seems there are researchers who have got involved

    Hi Chawlaji,
Being a Dad of twins and the first one in the family to be blessed as such, I'm quite happy about the fact you post here. Twins are special because they are not common. At Kondiji, even that doesn't allow any specialty. Oh yes, there's a bonus: many of my best friends remember me as a parent of twins and when they've to say me hello, they never forget to ask about the twins!
Thanks, Chawalaji, your post makes me happy like Ankit has felt reading it.
